Pictured Cabinet is featured in a walnut rendering. Miter + Spline joinery details, Brass hardware accents, and clean lines give way to a focus on lumber selection + grain details. The cabinet sits atop our standard “Archway” base design, with a sloping curvature spanning across it. Base construction and connection to cabinet via (2) hand-cut sliding dovetail stretchers.

(3) 8” Tall x full depth x full width, soft closing drawers in top section of cabinet, with continuous grain drawer fronts.
(2) 14” Tall Overlapped sliding doors on the bottom section of cabinet, with your choice of square profiled slats or rounded beading texture on doors.

The Steppe Cabinet is a direction reflection of one of our favorite pieces, the Palisade Cabinet. The Palisade cabinet’s inspiration came from Pinnacles National Park, as it was called by American settlers in the area in the 19th century, due to their fence-like/defensive geographical formations. With a mirrored design, we wanted to mirror the naming. Where the Palisade Cabinet’s hardwood beading provides visual adornment to the top of the cabinet, the Steppe Cabinet features them below. Steppes, the descriptive opposite of Palisades, are open. They’re welcoming, easier to navigate, and instead allow for wide open views & expanse. That felt right for this design, one of the few not named directly after one of our National Parks.
